Sea-Tac and regional partners collaborate on plans to serve demand for decades to come.
Our master plan also includes a Long-Term Vision for growth at Sea-Tac Airport to accommodate demand beyond 2027.
This includes projects that are not ready for environmental review at this time, as they require further study and are not reasonably foreseeable.
This long-term vision will require further study, broader partnership with regional agencies, and further environmental review.
The Puget Sound Regional Council is conducting an independent Baseline Regional Capacity Study to assess ways to accommodate the longer-term aviation needs of our region. With growth in mind, the Port of Seattle Commission recently supported a proposal for a statewide commission to make recommendations for siting a future commercial airport in Washington. All development projects at Sea-Tac Airport supporting the long-term vision will require additional environmental review.
